Account Executive

As an account executive your primary responsibility is to seek new opportunities, act as the advocate for clients, and ensure that the customer is receiving the care promised at the time the business relationship was established. Seeking new opportunities involves prospecting, qualifying, and performing online or in-person demonstrations of our software products. Once the initial contact is made, you will serve as the primary liaison between the customer and the rest of the team. You will be responsible for listening to your clients, helping address their challenges, and ensure their expectations are met (hopefully surpassing them!).

The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy meeting new people.

Primary Responsibilities:

Build list of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, attending events, sending direct mail, email, and/or social networking
Develop and execute creative and innovative ideas to influence sales opportunities
Respond to Request for Proposals (RFP) and manage proposals from the bidding phase to the final decision
Address the needs and requests sent from prospects and clients
Ensure the client’s needs are being met

Required Skills:

Communicate fluently in French: Exceptional oral, written, and presentation skills Note: Current opening requires fluency in French
Possess strong interpersonal skills to deal effectively with prospects and existing clients

Desirable Skills (not required):

Bachelor’s Degree (or related education that will help the candidate be successful in this role)
2+ years sales or related work experience
Proficient computer skills and an ability to learn new programs quickly
Familiar with Internet technologies and/or Web based applications
‘Eye for design’ – ability to distinguish great sites and user interfaces
